Woodberry Aid
Woodberry Aid is a community organisation dedicated to combating food poverty by providing tailored food support to vulnerable groups, including low-income families, the elderly, and the homeless. Their mission is to ensure no one goes hungry while respecting cultural food preferences, particularly for the Black and Global majority community. Their ultimate goal is to achieve zero hunger, promoting health, equality, and social development.
What does Woodberry Aid Do?
Every week, Woodberry Aid provides for around 65 households with a range of fresh fruit and vegetable food parcels and grocery items. Much of the produce is tailored to be culturally appropriate for the local community.
